Application :
Improves the discharge properties of solids from cones, hoppers, silos etc with the help of simultaneous fluidisation and vibration
It can be used for all products which form bridges and stick to wall
PCE Vibra-Pillow is used to carry out efficient discharge of hygroscopic, sticky and difficult flowing solids from Silos, hoppers etc.
A combination of fluidisation and vibration greatly improves the flowing characteristics of the solids and guaranties problem free discharge of solids.
Optimum fluidisation is achieved by changing the Air Volume & Air pressure. A pulse air supply at a regulated pressure strengthen the discharge characteristics of solids.
Easily assembled on the wall of the hopper
 
Standard design features :
Air nozzle available in Mild Steel galvanized or stainless steel 304
Rubber pillow available in white or black neoprene or silicon
Required compressed air pressure: 1 to 6 bar (g)
Regulated air flow decreases the friction of solid and builds up air cushion between the solid bed and silo / hopper wall.
 
Advantages :
Regulated air fluidizes the product and additionally forms resonated vibration waves which supports the flowing of solids. The fluidisation is achieved along the wall of the silo
PCE Vibra-Pillow is provided with a rubber gasket which avoids the backflow of solids into the compressed air piping.
It is very easy to assemble in a existing hopper, silo or cones.
The rubber pillow is available in white or black neoprene or silicon material.
